About us

Guidelines

As Patriots, we must:

1. Respect and observe the constitution of Zimbabwe
2. Use non violent means to express ourselves or resolve grievances
3. Bind ourselves with Si-Gs Universal Patriotic Agreement (UPA)
4. Defend the democratic revolutionary mandate that led to the liberation war.
5. Galvanize the movement from falling victim to our highly polarized political environment.
6. Engage each other with utmost respect. Religious attacks, personal attacks, foul language, racist and sexist remarks are unacceptable.
7. Foster unity amongst our people and not allow selfish leaders of political parties to divide us as Zimbabweans. The country should come first before our respective political parties.
8. Put Zimbabwe and its people first above anything else
9. Collectively create a democratic and peaceful environment.
10. Gather the contribution and support of citizens, the church, trade unions, civic organizations, students and the elderly for empowerment and economic growth
11. Foster a culture of tolerance, constructive debates and respect for diverse opinions. A true patriot has an obligation to be involved and continuously engage the people on key policy issues that contribute to nation building.
12. Iron out political differences and find each other with our political opponents so as to become collective participants in cleaning up and building Zimbabwe again. We might come from different political backgrounds but the fact that we are Zimbabweans binds us together
13. Lay a firm foundation for inclusiveness in our already toxic political environment
14. Adapt and be flexible to changing circumstances, societal and political dynamics

Anyone who resorts to violence, vandalism, looting and constitutional violations are clearly not patriots and not part of Si-G.
